Typographic Imagery

16x20” posters designed to capture the essence of a haiku through type.

As a quick warm-up project in my Advanced Typography course, I was assigned with designing a poster that aimed to capture the essence of a haiku through typography. I chose a haiku that resonated with my experience of grief and loss, and explored how I can use typography as imagery, ultimately aiming to capture the idea of remembrance and fading memory.
